F14T Previews and Updates

Hello peeps,

Well lately as you may or may not have noticed I've stopped posting updates on my nose/aero updates for VFR 2014. Part of the reason is I kind of lost a bit of motivation as the real season started to progress and the other part is that I have some important tasks that are taking up my time and I want to dedicate my 100% towards them.

However if you've caught me on Twitter you would've seen me mention last week that I'll release the three noses I've made so far for VFR 2014. Although technically it's two noses because I've already made a F14T nose before I went a bit further with my second attempt and created everything from what was a box.

Although these small projects have been done some time ago, I still wanted to take some time to finish them off and especially the F14T updates that I've been making in the background. It seems like every attempt would only satisfy me for a couple of days and in the end I always felt something didn't look right with the nose.

Anyway, after lots of researching, comparing and guess work I've finally managed to get the nose into some shape or form, and although it's still a distant journey from being totally finished I feel that this time I've managed to maximize the base shape before I apply all of the makeup.

Here you can see the naked model, basically I've redone lots of the mesh to improve the overall accuracy. This also means I need to remap everything, although after some experiences in the past few months this isn't such a extreme challenge for me.

Tomorrow I'll try to get everything sorted and release the update here. So keep an eye on this spot if you can!
