Debut Post: What's this blog for?

Opening a blog can be tedious, I've tried that numerous times in the past. The process of designing, maintaining and keeping regular visitors is a really hard task and definitely require lots of time and input. Therefore, my blogging stints have all been everything but long.

This is the reason why with this attempt I want to scrap those ideas of having a 'perfect' blog, instead I want to focus on having a place to share my thoughts and ideas as I go along and hopefully sharing things that are of interest to others even though it might only be a minority.

There are many goals for me opening this blog. For one, I would like to improve my writing skills and a effective way to improve that is through consistent practice. A blog enables you to train yourself to use different and more sophisticated vocabulary as well as building solid sentences to paragraphs to whole essays.

This blog is also my place where I'll share my upcoming work in the future, as if you didn't know already, I'm an avid modder for rFactor and lately (well 2 years in fact) I've been starting to learn modelling, with my ambition to be able to complete a whole car from scratch in the future.

I have not set any dates as goals or targets, because I feel with something as complicated as modelling learning the program and developing your skills properly is the only way to improve, meaning I'll keep myself busy with little projects here and there to learn more and improve my existing skills.

My aim is to use this blog as a highlight to my work, people can check it or not, it's their choice - but as long as I can reflect on them myself as I go along I'll be just as happy blogging.
